Bilikay A968 Mini TV Box With Android 9.0

This is an overview of a new budget TV box called Bilikay A968, based on the famous Amlogic S905W chip running the latest version of the Android 9.0 Pie operating system. Set-top boxes, working with this operating system is still quite small, so it will be interesting to observe its work and test its capabilities.

The SoC Amlogic S905W of A968 consists of a Quad-core Cortex A53 processor with a frequency of up to 1.5 GHz and a Mali-450MP2 GPU. In terms of performance, this SoC roughly corresponds to SoC Rockchip RK3328. The processor can play 4K @60 Hz, decode H.264, 10-bit H.265 and VP9, as well as HDR10. The set-top box has 2 GB of DDR3 RAM, 16 GB of eMMC flash memory and can be extended with a TF card slot up to 32 GB.
