DJI’s digital FPV system creates many frames capable of hosting the FPV Air Unit box, which is larger than conventional analog video transmitters. The Mr. Croc HD structure is designed for mid-range flights: it is available in 5-inch versions (23.5 cm for 125 grams, 6 inches (25 cm for 135 grams) and 7 inches (28.5 cm for 145 grams). The arms are made of 5 mm thick carbon, 2 mm for the upper and lower plates.

Flywoo indicates that the Mr. Croc HD is designed to accommodate 22xx, 23xx and 28xx brushless motors. The flight controller and components placed in the central structure can be mounted on 30.5 x 30.5 or 20 x 20 mm holes. It is long enough to accommodate 3 components without mounting them in a tower. The manufacturer also ensures that the arms can be positioned for placement in True X, Stretch X (in length), Deadcat (longer at the rear) or Hybrid (longer at the front).

They are designed to accommodate DJI’s camera by damping vibrations – this is the key to success on a large-format frame. They are also designed to securely attach a Crossfire radio antenna, a GPS antenna at the rear, and the two DJI FPV Air Unit antennas at the front.
