ZLRC SG906 Pro is the most complete drone there is, on the notch of 100/120 euros. We are used to seeing new brands and models flourish daily in the drone landscape, and thanks to this speed in presenting new quadcopters, we have learned that even the lesser known brands can make best sellers. It was the case of MJX with its Bugs 2 and Bugs 5 series or of SJRC with its F11. This new brand, ZLRC with the logo which is a fusion between MJX and SJRC, comes straight into the market with a model that seems destined to become the best buy of 2019.

The radio control of the SG906 Pro radio control takes up the style of the MJX radio control on the display, with a smartphone support system never seen in other drones. In this way the antennas also act as a support when the radio control is placed.

They are two of the features considered indispensable for a modern drone: performance Brushless motors, little subject to wear, and foldable arms. Because the beauty of having a drone is to bring it with you and to be able to use it at any occasion (respecting the legal limits).

If then also the aesthetics is successful, as in this case, the eye is already widely satisfied, therefore we move on to nibble the technical data to realize the goodness of the drone.

Considered as a standard on drones valued at over €100, in this case GPS is present but coupled with the very useful Optical Flow. The GPS helps the drone to maintain its position when in the air, making it stand still as soon as we release the remote control sticks. Optical flow is instead a small optical sensor present on the belly of the drone, which by controlling the ground below, helps the drone to keep the drone in position when GPS is not available (for example when flying indoors). By combining these 2 characteristics, it is ensured that the drone remains fixed even in the most difficult situations.

To please everyone, the drone is available in 2 versions: one with FullHD camera and one 4K. But in addition to this, ZLRC declares that the drone stabilizes the video by combining 2 modes: one is mechanical , adequately moving the front optics on the vertical axis, while the second is software, stabilizing the video digitally. The video department seems to implement a feature defined by ZLRC ULTRA CLEAR which should guarantee optimal video quality.

Thanks to the presence of GPS on the back, with the SG906 Pro, you can fly in WayPoint mode (the drone follows a path that can be set from the App on the smartphone) and also the interesting Point of Interest (often called Orbit Mode) with which the drone rotates 360° around a point that we always establish from the App.

The manufacturer claims that SG906 Pro can fly for up to 25 minutes, thanks to the removable 2800mAh 2S lipo battery. Considering that there are also kits with 2 or 3 batteries, it will be possible to fly really long with this SG906 Pro. The battery also has 4 let on the flap, which give us visual indication of the state of charge.

The developers have implemented a sort of video editor in the application , which also allows you to add music tracks in the background. This is certainly a good news, much appreciated by those who do not have computers available but wish to be able to share their small video montages quickly and immediately.
