Last week in India there was an online conference dedicated to the launch of two smartphones – Redmi Note 9 Pro and its Max-version. These are the newest models in the range. This time the manufacturer offered users interesting specifications. Users were surprised by the release of mobile device with the prefix “Max”. At the same time, the basic version of the series was never presented. This morning Malaysian division of Xiaomi announced that it plans to present smartphone Redmi Note 9S next week.

The release is scheduled for March 23. The promotional poster confirms that the novelty is equipped with a main camera module consisting of four sensors. The system of lenses location is fully coincides with Redmi smartphones, which were presented last week in India. The front is inside a miniature hole in the screen.

It is not yet clear whether the manufacturer will present a completely new smartphone or just a global version of the smartphones presented in India. Rebranding by changing the commercial name of a mobile device is a common practice for Xiaomi. The answer to this question will be available next week.

This is not the first smartphone with an “S” prefix for a Chinese brand. Last year, Xiaomi India introduced the Redmi Note 7S mobile device, which was equipped with a 48-megapixel camera, to this market. This is a basic version that was sold exclusively in India. It is obvious that during the next conference we will see not only a smartphone, but also a lot of other novelties.
