Doogee S95 is a new rugged Chinese smartphone that evolves and becomes modular. The smartphone is coming on the market on March 15 and is offered for launch on Doogee mall at a price of €269.99!
The market for rugged smartphones is constantly evolving with products that are increasingly resistant and sophisticated and increasingly at the level of the top of the range. The latest evolution of rugged, powerful and durable devices is the modularity introduced by Doogee with the S90 model. On this smartphone has been inserted the possibility to connect additional modules with the possibility to expand its functionality, just to name a few: night camera, additional battery and walkie-talkie. The natural evolution of the S90 will come with the launch of the new Doogee S95 on the market, scheduled for March 15, with improved features, enhanced modules and new features.
The Doogee S95 will boast mid-high end hardware consisting of a MediaTek Helio P90 octa-core processor flanked by an IMG PowerVR GM9446 GPU, 6 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB UFS 2.0 internal memory. The 6.3 inch screen, with drop notch, is based on an IPS waterdrop panel with 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution. Excellent also the photo compartment with a 16 megapixel front camera and a triple rear camera consisting of 3 lenses: Sony main sensor 48 megapixels, wide angle up to 120° and 10x digital zoom. Very interesting the 5150 mAh battery with support for fast charging to 24W via USB Type-C and wireless charging 10W. The operating system is based on Android 9 with NFC support.
What makes the difference are the construction quality and the modules. Doogee S95 is built to withstand shocks and falls thanks to IP68 and IP69K certification which make it resistant to diving up to four hours at a depth of three meters, extremely low and high temperatures (-30° to +55°) and falls from 1.2 meters on hard surfaces. What makes it so resistant is the shell made of titanium alloy. Despite the excellent construction specifications, the smartphone boasts a weight slightly above average, 285 grams, and quite compact dimensions, 1.38 cm thick.
The real point of differentiation of this smartphone are the functionality expansion modules. Thanks to pogo pins and a magnetic attack, placed on the back of the smartphone, you can connect various expansion modules among which it is worth mentioning those included in the package: the 3500 mAh magnetic powerbank to increase battery life and a 6W WiFi speaker capable of transforming the device into a powerful entertainment system.
The launch phase allows you to buy Doogee S95 on Doogee Mall at a discounted price of 30 euros, thus obtaining a final price of 269.99 euros. A really interesting price for one of the best rugged smartphones of 2020.
