The 3D printer JGAurora JGMaker Artist-D was financed on Kickstarter with great success. And for good reason, it offers a very attractive data sheet.

The Artist D printer therefore has 2 independent direct drive extruders (IDEX). They are installed on a linear rail which allows them to be perfectly at the same height, contrary to the V-Slot profile where they could be at different levels depending on the tension of the eccentrics.

With the JGMaker Artist-D you can do this at the touch of a button, without the hassle of changing nozzles and torques. Thanks to a 32-bit motherboard under Open Source firmware (Marlin 2.0) with silent drivers, the JGMaker Artist-D limits noise pollution.

The Z axis is based on 2 synchronized axes, the 2 motors of which are driven by a single driver. The removable and flexible bed offers a printing volume of 310 x 310 x 350 mm.

The “cable management” is clean thanks to the secured connectors. These connectors are clipped on and therefore cannot be disconnected with the movements and vibrations of the machine. This new JGMaker 3D printer allows the resumption on power failure or in case of shortage of consumables thanks to the filament detector.

From a safety point of view, overheating detection (bed and nozzle) greatly reduces the risk of fire starting. The JGMaker Artist D is delivered as a kit which is very easy to assemble in only 2 steps.

The two heads each have their own slicer specifications so one of them can easily be used to make soluble media for example. You can also use the mirror mode to print two identical parts at the same time.
