In recent years, the battery capacity of our cell phones has continued to increase. One area where this is particularly important is outdoor smartphones. Because once on the road, you can’t even find a power outlet in most forests. Of course, this problem has been known for a long time and some manufacturers try to tackle it with so-called battery monsters. One of these manufacturers is Ulefone. With the “Power” series, they offer smartphones with huge batteries that can easily go on a tour for several days without charging.
With the Power Armor 13, the Ulefone Power line is now going into the next round – and not too badly: A 13200mAh battery is supposed to make the device the phone with the largest battery ever. 13200mAh, that’s about three times as much as an everyday smartphone has.
Besides the huge battery, the Ulefone Power Armor 13 seems to have a good hardware, but only the most important specifications are known so far. 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a Helio G95 should easily be enough for a smooth experience in apps and games. In addition, there is a 6.81-inch Full HD display, a 48MP quad camera and the latest Android 11. As befits an outdoor phone, the Armor 13 is protected against dust and water according to IP68. The Ulefone Power Armor 13 can be charged with up to 33 watts via cable. Wirelessly, 15 watts can still be pumped into the battery. The support of reverse-wireless charging is very pleasing. The Power Armor 13 can charge other devices wirelessly with up to 5 watts.
We expect more information about the device soon, but an exact launch date is still missing. We will report more details about the device at a later date.
