It’s called Teclast T50 and it’s the new tablet from the Chinese company, which shares design and most of the technical specifications with the Teclast T40 Plus launched a month ago.

From a technical point of view, Teclast T50 runs on Android 11 operating system and integrates an octa-core Unisoc Tiger T618 processor (two ARM Cortex A75 cores at 2GHz and six ARM Cortex A55 cores at 1.8GHz) with ARM Mali G52MP2 graphics at 850MHz, 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM that allows the device to handle medium multitasking and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal memory (expandable with a microSD card slot) to store photos, videos, files and documents.

The 11-inch Full HD+ (2000 x 1200 pixels) 16:9 in-cell TDDI IPS screen offers high contrast, improved touch and color rendering optimized by T-Colour 2.0 technology. Despite the ultra-thin bezels, Teclast managed to place a 5MP camera on the front for video calls and an 8MP sensor on the back, slightly protruding. The multimedia compartment is then completed by four SWEET 3 speakers, two of which are placed in the upper edge and two in the lower edge, which will be hardly covered by hands in landscape mode.

Inside a dual-tone matte aluminum chassis that measures 248 x 157 x 10 mm and weighs 455 grams, the Teclast T50 comes with a 7500 mAh battery that should provide up to 7 hours of video playback and a full day with average usage. Connectivity, on the other hand, includes a USB Type-C port for charging, a 3.5mm audio jack, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and 4G-LTE (dual-SIM). There is no shortage of BDS support, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS and Galileo for satellite navigation.
