There are few companies on the market that have as wide a projector offering as BlitzWolf. There are about twenty variants on the BW-VP15 product sheet , the spectrum is really so brutal that everyone can choose from it. We tried quite a few of them, the BW-VP1, VP5, VP9 and VP10 also came to our test table. These are pretty good projectors, BUT – and it always comes down to this word – there was something wrong with each one. Usually the fact that an android system is running on them , don’t take that, it’s a torment to do anything with them. The other is the loud fanit used to be, so before I turned it on, I already told a couple of us why the BW-VP15 wouldn’t yell.
However, it’s not worth running so far, let’s look around the box instead. The projector comes with an HDMI, an AV and a power cord, a microfiber cloth, a description and a good little remote control from which you can manage essential functions. Of course, these can also be controlled from the buttons on the top of the BW-VP15, but most of us are more comfortable than that. Highlighting the projector, you can see a cube with rounded corners made of amber knock-blown plastics blessed with a solid design. I immediately looked at the typical projector stuff, what can be set up and where its connectors are.
The brightness is lied to 7000 lumens, but there is no ANSI standard next to this value, so no one knows how much is real, but I would guess 200-300 because it made me feel very similar to the Wanbo T2 Max at the time, and its 200 was, so approx. you have to calculate with that. Its menu system is quite simple, but it can be used as well as the remote control. What’s annoying, though, is that it doesn’t have any 4K compatibility, so you can’t scale the image to 1080p, these videos just won’t start. It played well in most formats, but that was where I ran into problems. BDRiP King Arthur had no voice, nor could it smell for H.265 compression, nor for 10-bit H.264. Quicktime played mov files and avi, but it was more of a problem with SMEs, which isn’t very heartbreaking considering almost everything comes in this format these days. In comparison, all kinds of audio files – flac, wav, mp3, vma – are absolutely, so that’s why few people buy a projector.
For iPhone, a wired solution or wireless AirPlay is available, while Android can be Miracasted via WiFi. I’ve tried the latter, it works perfectly well , although I think the content consumption of the projectors is more from external media – SSD, hard disk, flash drive – or the projector triggers a television, in which case it shows the transmission of cable TV or other broadcasting solution. However, it is not bad to play on it, and mobile gaming has already developed a significant camp, which means that the idea of mirroring such content is not at all distorted, and thus the Android TV box functions are not lacking either. The diagonal can vary between 1.35 and 5 meters, but I didn’t force screens larger than 2 meters.
