Among the increasingly numerous mid / high range models, the  Smartisan Nut Pro 2S is now officially entering the industry. The official presentation event has just ended, during which all the details have been unveiled. Here, then, everything you need to know about the technical data, price and  availability.

As can be guessed from the name used, this Smartisan Nut Pro 2S represents a hardware upgrade of its predecessor, the appreciated Nut Pro 2. The dimensions remain almost unchanged but this time we see a  glass body with a more premium look. It does not change the arrangement of the circular buttons, with the Power button and volume rocker on the right and the “Bonus” button on the left.

Given the frames virtually unchanged (and without notch), the phone offers 5.99-inch diagonal display with Full HD resolution + (2160 x 1080 pixels), now with AMOLED technology. Leading the hardware sector of the device we think the renewed  Snapdragon 710 Qualcomm, as anticipated by the rumors. It is a 10 nm chipset with octa-core CPU Kryo 360 up to 2.2 GHz, Adreno GPU 616 and, in this case,  4GB / 6GB RAM LPDDR4X and  64/128 GB internal eMMC 5.1 storage.

Speaking of hardware, the company wanted to apologize to the Asian public for the delayed shipment of Smartisan TNT. However, it is still possible to take advantage of the video output via  USB Type-C of the new Smartisan Nut Pro 2S (as well as the top of the R1 range) to connect it to external monitors with the appropriate dock. According to the statement, the functionality will be available from September (while for R1 already from today).

Continuing, much importance was given to the photographic sector. It is no coincidence, in fact, that Smartisan Nut Pro 2S is the first model of the brand to have been tested by DxOMark.

Specifically, a 12.0MP + 5.0MP dual camera was implemented on the back. The main sensor is a Sony IMX363 with dimensions of 1 / 2.55″, aperture  f / 1.8-2.0, Dual Pixel autofocus and OIS stabilization. The front camera, on the other hand, is a single  16 mega-pixel sensor with f /2.2 aperture.

Speaking of connectivity, the smartphone integrates the 4G dual SIM support, but it is  absent the band 20, as is absent the input mini-jack. The sub-fund also includes Wi-Fi ac Dual Band, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS / A-GPS / GLONASS / BeiDou. Do not miss the integrated  3600 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 quick charge.

Price and availability

The Smartisan Nut Pro 2S will be available in  4 colors, namely Carbon Black, Glare Blue, Glare Red and Pure White. The starting price is 1798 yuan, about €229, for the 4/64 GB version. It then goes to the  6/64 GB, with a cost of 1998 yuan, about €254. No figure, however, for the 6/128 GB variant.
