Elephone is preparing for the presentation of the new smartphone Elephone U3, which will use a retractable camera module for Self with a double lens. In addition, the manufacturer will bet on quite reasonable components.

The Elephone U3 will be another smartphone after the Elephone U2 and PX, in which the manufacturer will decide to use a retractable camera module dedicated to Self. According to the latest information, this is to be a mid-range model, which will also boast three cameras on the rear panel. Therefore, it is worth taking a look at the components used.

MediaTek Helio P70 with 6 GB of RAM will be responsible for the proper functioning of the Elephone U3. This is a suitable solution for Chinese mid-priced devices, as evidenced by the use of four cores of ARM Cortex-A73 at 2.1 GHz and four additional cores of ARM Cortex-A53 architecture. I would also like to mention that ARM Mali-G72MP3 is responsible for the graphics and the SoC was produced in a 12-nanometer process.

The data will be reserved for 64/128 GB of internal memory, which will probably be able to expand also using a microSD card, but unfortunately we do not have confirmation of this information at the moment.

The energy will be provided by a battery with a capacity of 3400 mAh, which should translate into an appropriate working time, contrary to what some people may think. After all, there is an energy-efficient SoC system on board, which does well in energy management.

Selfie is dedicated to a set of a 16MP lens. And although their characteristics and functions are not known, probably this additional one should be used for the background blurring effect.

At the back there are dual different sensors, SONY IMX586 48MP, 5MP, respectively. And although the main violin is played by the main sensor, the 5MP module, which will probably have a wide angle, is also interesting. All kinds of content will be displayed in FHD+ resolution on a 6.59 inch screen. It will be surrounded by very slim frames.
