At the IFA 2018 exhibition in Berlin (Germany), a small form factor Mini-PC Alfawise A1 debuted on the Intel Skylake I5-8250U hardware platform.
The device uses a I5/I7 processor. This chip is produced by 14 nm technology. The product contains four cores with a nominal clock frequency of 1.8 GHz and the possibility of increasing to 4.0 GHz. Its cache size is 8 MB Smart-Cache, Operating System of Your Choice.
The Mini PC in the base configuration carries on board 8 GB of DDR4 RAM. If necessary, the amount of RAM can be doubled – up to 16 GB. It boasts 256GB NVME SSD, advantageous in performance, security and reliability. Additionally, you can install a solid state storage device of the format M.2 2280.
The mini-computer has Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2 wireless adapters. Among the available interfaces, you can select the USB Type-C connector and three USB 3.0 ports. To connect displays you can use connectors HDMI 1.4 and mini Display Port.
In the sale of new, as expected, will be available in October. The price will be from $500.
