Modern vacuum cleaners – this is not just a boring thing that stands in the closet and waits for its cleaning hour. This gadgets that are recharged from docking stations, look like weapons of ghost hunters and, most importantly, do not scare cats. However, such devices are either expensive or very expensive. Fortunately, Alfawise HC – 1D03 is an exception to this rule.

Foreword

It so happened that my old vacuum cleaner from Samsung broke down. He did not suck at all, and I was too lazy to repair it. In addition, now the fashion for manual vacuum cleaners with batteries that are devoid of wires. In general, I decided to try something new and modern.

First, the choice fell on the products of Dyson, which in this category of gadgets feels better than others. Unfortunately, the company decided not to bother with the response to my request for testing. Perhaps, it is for the better, because paying for a portable vacuum cleaner 20 or more thousand rubles in any case was not included in the plans.

I started looking for an option that is more interesting and more adequate in terms of price. It coincided, that in the field of view there was an amusing offer from the Internet store Gearbest, namely, the wireless vacuum cleaner Alfawise HC – 1D03. I asked the store to send me a device for review and here I have it.

Already from the power it is clear that the role of a full-fledged vacuum cleaner Alfawise HC – 1D03 still does not fit. However, there was a lot of reservations, both positive and negative. About them later.

Design, Set, Management

In any case, the unit was packed perfectly. Personally, I was embarrassed by the inscription-slogan of the company on the box – Make our life better. In translation it sounds like: “Make our life better”. It turns out, you need to buy a vacuum cleaner and make the life of the manufacturer better – not his, but his. In general, the creators clearly something peremudrili.

In the complete set there is all the most necessary:

• Actually the vacuum cleaner in disassembled state
• Two replaceable nozzles: with a narrow nose for corners and a brush for cleaning furniture
• Docking station with a European plug (in the kit there is an adapter for a Chinese outlet and no, I did not mix anything up)
• Mounting the dock to the wall (screws and dowels)
• instruction (English only)

When he was assembling the vacuum cleaner for the first time, he did everything exactly according to the instructions, for what is not enough. In fact, it turned out that everything is extremely simple. The main tube is easily connected to the motor and filter parts. The latter is in turn fastened with a pen with a battery.

Finished cleaning, dismantled (again, everything is done very easily), poured out the trash, washed the filter, dried it while the built-in battery is charged, and the gadget is ready for harvesting again.

The only nuance that confuses – replaceable filters. In the complete set there is no spare, and Gearbest somehow did not bother selling accessories. Nevertheless, 5 minutes of searches on the Web have borne fruit. The average price per filter when ordering from China is 10 bucks. I bought two for every fireman.

Convenience

The handle is equipped with a trigger. I pressed once – turned on the first speed, pressed again – turned on the increased speed, pressed for the third time – turned off the device.

At the top there are three LEDs that show the remaining charge.

The convenience of grasping and using do not cause questions. The vacuum cleaner fits in your hand like a glove. During the harvest, fatigue is not observed, and all thanks to the extremely low weight of the device – 2.8 kg.

For comparison, Dyson V6 weighs 2.04 kg. Yes, the mass is smaller, but the suction power is lower – 100 watts instead of 120 in our case.

By the way, the hand will not get tired also because the maximum stated operating time is 40 minutes at the minimum speed. It’s too short a time to feel how the forces leave you. Although personally I get tired at the thought of cleaning.

Build quality is normal, but not perfect. Minus I would put for the flabbiness of the design. The vacuum cleaner does not appear to be a tightly knit device, which if you can put your husband on, if he does not want to raise his legs to vacuum under them. Nevertheless, there are no explicit jambs and flaws. It is unlikely that it will fall apart in six months.

Vacuuming, we usually operate in not the most convenient places. The brush and the body itself are beating about the corners of the furniture, walls and skirting boards. I am sure that over time the glossy case will be covered with combat scratches and rubbed. By the way, the metal is only in one place – in the extension tube. It’s perfectly audible how small trash fervently runs along the tube during harvesting.

Work

The main brush has a very convenient swivel mechanism. As a result, the vacuum cleaner can climb into rather narrow places under furniture and still slightly turn in this or that direction. This is a plus.

On the reverse side of the brush there are four wheels: two large and two tiny wheels. Thanks to them the vacuum cleaner perfectly rides on any surfaces, does not slip, it does not reel on itself. Mostly.

Suction and already cleaned air is blown out of the ventilation holes, which are located immediately on both sides.

It is stated that the noise level does not exceed 65 dB. I have no special instruments for measuring this, but I can say the following. The vacuum cleaner works noticeably quieter than stationary, on the wire, watt is 200-300. Even during work at high speed, you can talk with someone in the room. Yes, you have to raise your voice slightly, but you do not need to shout.

Another indicator. If the smartphone is nearby, then the call can not be missed – it is well audible. If the phone is left in the next room, the call will remain unanswered. The assessment is highly subjective, nevertheless, the impression can be added.

Cleaning

In addition, it is possible to vacuum (there is such a word?) And the upper layer of dust, the one that is visible even if you do not particularly look.

Nevertheless, some of the dust still remains on the surface. I mean the very layer that is difficult to notice at first glance and which is removed by wet cleaning. Actually, no matter how steep the vacuum cleaner was, wet cleaning can not be avoided in any case. Lesson is, of course, rare, but for the cleanliness of the house is extremely useful.

I poured flour or cereals in the kitchen, I do not need to take a broom with a scoop or, even more uncomfortable, take an adult vacuum cleaner out of the closet, unwind the cable, collect the hose and the like. I took HC – 1D03 from the docking station, drove back and forth for 30 seconds and everything returned to its original state. No wires, busy hands and other inconveniences. Beauty!

The only moment. When you take out the main tube, you need to hold the vacuum cleaner vertically. Otherwise, small debris is poured from it. The construction here is very simple, the partitions and offices are not so many. As a result, and arise such minor trouble.

Power

For cleaning the standard apartment Alfawise HC – 1D03 capacity is enough. To clean the tile, parquet or the same laminate is enough standard speed. Dust is absorbed and so good. However, for carpets with long nap it is better to include the second speed.

Does the vacuum cleaner lose power during harvesting? I decided to test this in practice. Spilled the flour and part of the left edge was removed at the very beginning of harvesting, and the right part vacuumed at the end.

It can be seen that there were small islets of unassembled flour left. However, it’s not about the power, but the nap of the brush itself. At the end of the cleaning, a bunch of hair wound around her, so she stopped collecting dust as efficiently as possible. That’s all.

If at home you can do with a conventional vacuum cleaner, and Alfawise HC – 1D03 can serve as a complement, so to say, elektrovenikom on pick-up, then for the car everything becomes exactly the opposite. HC – 1D03 is the main tool for keeping the salon clean, and a powerful, wired vacuum cleaner will come in handy 1 or 2 times a year.

How it works? He took off the metal tube, inserted a short nozzle for the corners directly into the vacuum cleaner and drove to put things in order in the cabin.

Alfawise HC – 1D03 perfectly collects mote and dust on passenger seats, on the rear couch and in the trunk. But for a full cleaning of the pile covering under the mats, it is not very suitable. Trivially lacking power.

Yes, HC – 1D03 and there will collect large rubbish, will remove the main layer of dirt, however, it is not capable of vacuuming (and there is such a word?) Dirt stuck in the pile and roadside dust. Here you need a powerful, adult vacuum cleaner so at 350.

On the other hand, such cleaning is carried out, as a rule, 1-2 times a season. Therefore, for all other situations, the capabilities of the Alfawise HC – 1D03 suffice.

Autonomy

The manufacturer shares the following indices of battery life:

• 40 minutes in normal mode
• 25 minutes on turbo speed
• charging time 4 hours

For my part, I can only confirm the declared figures. My measurements showed a difference of a minute or two, and, in the larger side.

In any case, my 73 squares have to be removed in two receptions with the speed set at maximum.

Summary

Alfawise HC – 1D03 I liked. I will use it as my main and only vacuum cleaner for the house plus use from time to time wet cleaning. The vacuum cleaner is excellent for cleaning parquet, laminate, tile and carpets, and, even with a long pile – there are no problems.

However, even if a stationary (wired) vacuum cleaner is already available, the Alfawise HC – 1D03 will still come in handy. In this case, he will perfectly replace a broom with a scoop. I woke up something in the kitchen, took out the HC – 1D03 from the closet, two or three movements and everything was clean.

Pleasant bonus. Alfawise HC – 1D03 is great for quick cleaning in the car. Even 20 minutes is enough to walk through all the seams and climb into all the cabinets of the salon. More from such a device is not required.
