Details continue to leak about Amazfit Bip U, Huami’s new low-cost smartwatch that hasn’t yet a certain presentation date. And there’s no shortage of previews for the Xiaomi Mi Air 2 Pro true wireless headphones, starring in a hands-on video that reveals some details.
Huami further expands his proposal of wearable devices that has seen the entrance of Amazfit Neo at the end of September: Amazfit Bip U is coming, a new smartwatch of which we already know the complete data sheet thanks to a web page on Amazon India.
Aesthetically the watch does not differ much from the Amazfit Bip S that we reviewed at the end of August. Bip U is also equipped with a square-shaped polycarbonate case, but in this case both the size and the resolution of the display increase: it goes from 1.28″ of Bip S (176×176 pixels) to 1.43 inches in resolution 302×302 pixels of Bip U. To remain unchanged is instead the weight equal to 31 grams.
Bip U has Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, a 225 mAh battery and an RTOS operating system. The watch is compatible with the Android (5.0 or higher) and iOS (10.0 or higher) operating systems and can be paired with your smartphone via the Zepp app.
The operating system will be RTOS with Huami’s BioTracker 2 PPG Biological Optical Sensor, six-axis accelerometer, blood oxygen monitoring, sleep tracking, automatic exercise recognition, PAI score, stress and menstrual cycle monitoring.
There’s no shortage of typical smartwatch features like notifications, reminders, music playback control, weather forecasts and over 50 quadrants to choose from. Confirmed the presence of a 225 mAh battery that should allow to reach 9 days of autonomy, as it will obviously depend on the use. Finally, Bluetooth connectivity is present while there are no previews on the price, which should be as always particularly aggressive.
