The Binai G15 Pro is the brand’s first laptop with a 15.6-inch Full HD display, Intel Celeron J3160 processor, 8/512GB of memory and good battery life. Already on sale in Chinese shops from $349.99.

Judging by the latest announcements, Chinese companies are going through a period of transformation. The geo-political crisis with the United States, the social conflicts in Hong Kong and the harsh laws of the market have led some smaller brands to make choices in order to survive: leave the business or invest in new categories for a diversification of the offer. So in a few months, we have seen some Chinese brands disappear from shops and others increase their presence with new products. And this is the case of Binai.

As you may have already understood, Binai G15 Pro is available in configurations: Intel J3160 Quad Core processors 1.6GHz, up to 2.24GHz, but to avoid performance drops or sudden overheating, Binai has designed a very efficient dissipation system with a centrally located fan. On board, moreover, 8GB of DDR3 RAM and 512GB SSD that together will make this notebook suitable for office application, home use and – why not – a few hours of fun with light gaming.

The 15.6-inch Full HD IPS screen (1920 x 1080 pixels) integrates a 1.3MP webcam with microphone in the upper frame, despite being as thin as the side ones, for a screen-to-body ratio of 89.5%. According to the Chinese company, the 44 Whr battery should provide good battery life. Connectivity is standard: dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and a microHDMI, a microSD card reader and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

We also appreciate the presence of a full-size backlit keyboard and a very large (5.9-inch) Precision Touchpad with multi-gesture support. Binai G15 Pro weighs 1.50 kg, measures 35.50 x 25.50 x 1.4 cm and runs on Windows 10.

Already well established in the market of Mini PCs and Android TV Boxes, VORKE has decided to launch its own line of notebooks: Binai G15 Pro. This is obviously not a high-end range, but a family of cheap laptops with an “interesting” configuration and a modern design characterized by a metal frame with a thin-framed display.
