After the previously tested Binai M11, the sequel has arrived in the person of the Binai I99UHD, which is a step forward both externally and internally. That means it has a pretty sophisticated metal back cover, 10.8 inch size, Full HD display, GPS, dual SIM card usage, 6GB of RAM and an Deca-Core processor as well.
In Europe, there is a good chance that we can only get a tablet that can be considered acceptable on average, but the Binai I99UHD also goes beyond the price category, which is largely due to the brushed, natural metal backing.
The back, on the other hand, is a pretty nice, brushed metal, which is especially spectacular when you get a little more light. He doesn’t really collect fingerprints, which is definitely an advantage.
3.5mm jack, buttons and Type-C input. The buttons are good anyway, although there is some slight lateral movement of the volume buttons.
In landscape view, the right side is blank. Its quality is significantly better than what can be expected based on price. Add to that the metal housing and frost-free design, but at the corners, it rises slightly at the very edges. The significance of this is not much, because no one is so elevated anyway.
The size of the display is 10.8″, the resolution is 2560 x 1600 pixels and of course it is an IPS display. The brightness is quite good and does not distort when viewed from the front, it responds well to touches.
Bright display and like everything, it is reflected, but with this matte foil you can help. It seems that it is not able to adjust its brightness automatically, because on the one hand there is no such adjustment option, and on the other hand, in practice it does not adjust the brightness automatically, it always stays at what we set. This is somewhat inconvenient for those who don’t just use it in similar lighting conditions because it always has to be adjusted manually.
Based on its price, it can be assumed that the manufacturer does not intend to play games, but to find not only 2 but also 3D games that run on it enjoyably. Of course, those with good graphics are optimized and can be set over a wide range, especially well.
13MP camera on the back and 8MP on the front. The back cover of Binai I99UHD is so much more exciting that the idea of shooting with it may arise, but the quality is, to put it mildly, not very steely. It’s more just because it’s mandatory.
Since (two) SIM cards can be inserted, it can be used for normal telephone calls and mobile internet. It works as it should, in the case of Telekom it was also 4G. There is a built-in microphone, of course, and the quality of the calls is adequate.
HBO GO, Netflix, Horizon Go also work, although Netflix doesn’t work in Full HD, but at most HD, but it’s still enjoyable. The battery has a capacity of 8000mAh, which gives the tablet a pretty good run time and can be charged via a Type-C connector.
On the other hand, it seems that it is not able to adjust its brightness automatically, because on the one hand there is no such adjustment option, and on the other hand, in practice it does not adjust the brightness automatically, it always stays what we set it to. This is somewhat inconvenient for those who don’t just use it in similar lighting conditions because it always has to be adjusted manually. Or it should be mentioned that Netflix does not go with Full HD resolution.
