The Blackview BV5100 Plus comes at a bargain price of around $100 and offers a lot of features. The chassis is particularly striking, as it looks as if the smartphone already has a protective cover.
In fact, the BV5100 Plus is a real rugged smartphone, i.e. a model that is extremely robust. It is shock-resistant, dust- and waterproof according to IP68 certification, and has an extremely strong battery for the weak hardware – more than 2 days without a power outlet is absolutely no problem.
The display only has a low resolution with a simple HD resolution – but that does not weigh quite as heavily for a 5.7-inch screen. The camera is not used for presentable Instagram photos, but should be described as more utilitarian. However, small proof photos or snapshots are no problem.
Nice: For the price, you get a great storage configuration with 128 GB and 4 GB of working memory. Together with the quad-core 1.5 GHz CPU, the chipset quickly breaks down in terms of performance in complex apps and 3D games, but the device should be able to handle multitasking quite well. Even better: You get a cutting-edge operating system with Android 10. Best of all: Blackview has even installed an NFC interface for contactless payment – that is great for the price!
