Blackview BV9700 Pro 4G Rugged with Helio P70

In the recent three rugged phone market, two models are very popular. They are DOOGEE S90 and Ulefone Armor 6 produced by Chinese manufacturers. Now, Blackview company presented another version of durable device at one of the Chinese exhibitions. It is a long-playing smartphone with a powerful (strong or capacious) battery of Blackview BV9700 Pro which works on the latest version of Android 9.0 OS and offers good functionality. The model is claimed to comply with the IP68 standard for dust and waterproofing (more about the standard in this material).

It also has three very new features, namely: Air detection, Air pressure detection and Heart rate detection. This is undoubtedly a very useful feature for people who are often outdoors.

The smartphone is based on Android 9.0 and includes in its configuration Octa-core processor Helio P70 with a clock speed of 2.5 GHz, as well as video chip Mali-G72 MP. It has a 6GB RAM and a 128GB or 256GB ROM. There is a slot for a memory card up to 256 GB or a second SIM card (4G).

Visual information is displayed on a large 6.18 inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2246 px, protected by tempered glass. The main chamber has 2 sensors 16.0MP and 8.0MP, the front chamber has a sensor 8.0 MP. From the interfaces available Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, 3.5 mm connector and navigation antenna on GPS satellites and GLONASS, supported by A-GPS.

The battery has a capacity of 6380 mAh and features fast and wireless charging. Also available are fingerprint, light, distance, compass, gyro and accelerometer sensors.

In recent years, Blackview has achieved relatively good results in the Rugged Phone field, and its reputation has become better and better. They launched a number of successful phone models last year, such as: BV9600 Pro, BV5500, and so on. However, in the near future, according to reliable news, they actually want to launch a projector phone: Blackview MAX 1.

As for the release date, Blackview’s official website shows that the BV9700 Pro will be available in May 2019. In terms of price, I guess it will be around $300.
