BlitzWolf BW-WD1 Kitchen Waste Disposal

The truth is that here in Greece, garbage eaters are not very common, and I find it hard to understand why. Well, we have dogs and chickens for scraps. What do you guys in the big cities do with all that?

The BW-WD1 is Blitzwolf’s first garbage disposal and the simplest (there are two more, which we will introduce later) which gives it a very useful feature: It’s the cheapest!

With an 840-litre hopper, the WD1 holds plenty of stuff, and its 380W copper motor spins the cutting head at 3000rpm, allowing it to grind up what you throw in.

All you need to do is press the pneumatic button that reaches all the way to the top of the sink, and it automatically starts the process of… juicing.

As with all of these appliances, you can throw in meats, vegetables, peelings, bones and fish bones, but no plastic bags, pig poop, hair, no boxes and no hot oil.

After all, they called it a garbage disposal, not a dump.

Of course, the installation must be done by a professional (NO, YOU STOP THE DISHWASHER FROM STOPPING YOU DON’T HAVE A PROFESSIONAL) and there is an option to hook up the dishwasher in addition to the sink for double the efficiency.
