The Roma F1 is a nano racer based on a carbon structure of 8.5 cm diagonal from engine to engine. It is thus in competition with the innumerable Tinywhoop.
It is delivered with removable propeller protections. Equipped, it looks like a Tinywhoop ready for indoor flights. Without the protections, it is a nano racer intended for the flights in outside – or inside with great spaces. The motors are Mamba Toka 1103 at 10000KV for four-bladed Gemfan propellers of 1.6 inch (4 cm) 1636.
The flight controller is a Mamba F405 Mini MK3.5 with an active OSD and USB-C connector. It is accompanied by a 4 in 1 ESC Mamba F25MK2. The radio receiver is a Mamba MSR D16 compatible with the FrSky D16 protocol (Non-EU). The FPV camera is a RunCam Nano 2 associated with a 5.8 GHz analog video transmitter Mamba TX500 capable of transmitting with a power of 25 mW (the maximum allowed in France), 200 mW or 500 mW. It is equipped with a dipole antenna.
Diatone has added a buzzer to find the device more easily. The weight without battery but with the propeller protections installed ? 69 grams. The power socket is an XT30, with a platform to place the battery on the back of the device. Diatone recommends to use 3S of 350 to 450 mAh, without giving any estimate on the autonomy.
