Over the years I’ve written about many Chinese electric bikes, even tested a few of them. I have to admit that most of them have the same generic design, even the fat bikes don’t differ much, even though we are talking about different manufacturers.

Well, the ESKUTE MYT-28O manages to change this, being a model that somehow breaks out of the usual patterns. It’s an electric bike that I personally like, and reminds me of the much more expensive models produced by Super73.

From my point of view, the ESKUTE MYT-28O looks like a combination of a retro motorcycle and an electric bike. It’s constructed of aluminium and the maximum weight it can hold is 120 kilograms. The bike itself weighs 25 kilograms. Not only does it look great, but the technical specifications are top notch.

There’s an incredible 250W motor, which means the bike can reach a top speed of up to 45km/h. Under the saddle, long enough even for 2 people, there’s a 10 Ah battery, which ensures a range of up to 45 kilometres in assisted mode.

In fully electric mode the promised range is around 65 kilometres. The range may vary depending on the user’s weight but also on weather or road conditions. A full charge takes 6 hours.

If it runs out of battery, the ESKUTE MYT-28O can also be used as a classic bike. It has a Shimano 7-speed derailleur for the most enjoyable experience. There’s no suspension but the 1.75-inch diameter 28 wheels should take all the bumps in the asphalt without any problems.

It can be used even when it’s raining outside, and in the features department I think we can mention the headlight and stop, both LED type, front/rear disc brakes, and a generous display on the handlebars – where information on range, battery capacity and distance travelled will be displayed.

At the moment I consider the ESKUTE MYT-28O to be one of the most interesting Chinese electric bikes. I like the design and the specs are very good. The price in return is one to match, you can find it at Banggood with fast courier delivery for $1069.
