The manufacturer Flywoo constitutes a rather interesting range of racers. The Xbot3 model is a nano racer type device since it is equipped with 3 inch propellers for a motor-to-motor diagonal of 11.6 cm. It is similar to a Toothpick with its narrow 2.5 mm thick motor arms and its two-bladed propellers. But it is a higher category machine… The look of its central fairing, all in height, is interesting, with a front piece which protects the electronics inside and guides the radio antennas.
The Xbot3 is based on a GOKU4111 flight controller based on an F4 processor, with an active OSD, flashed with Betaflight. To drive the motors, it relies on a 13A BLheli_S DShot600 ESC 4 in 1. Its motors are 1205.5 to 5800KV brushless for Gemfan 3018 propellers. Flywoo has placed a FrSky XM + radio receiver on board.
Flywoo offers two versions of the Xbot3. The first is equipped with a classic FPV camera, the Runcam Nano 2. The second is the Xbot3-HD, intended to record flights in HD, with a RunCam Split 3 Nano camera, a hybrid capable of ensuring analog video return and record images in 1080p at 60 frames per second. The video transmitter is a 5.8 GHz model compatible with 48 channels, with a power of 0 mW (pitmode), 25 mW (the maximum authorized in France), 50 mW, 100 mW, 200 mW or 450 mW. The Xbot3 weighs 70 grams without battery, the Xbot3-HD weighs 70 grams.
