This is HGLRC’s proposed revision 3 of Sector 5. As a reminder, the Sector 5 is a fairly classic 5-inch racer, which stands out by its very light price. It is a BnF, delivered assembled and ready to be paired with a radio control.
It is equipped with LEDs that can be controlled from Betaflight or a button on the flight controller. It also has a GPS for mid-range flights. The geometry of the structure, which measures 21.8 cm diagonal from engine to engine, has been revised so that the propellers no longer appear in the image. It allows the installation of 5-inch propellers (with the possibility of going up to 5.5 inches). The inclination of the GoPro type camera support is adjustable. HGLRC has added a trap door so that the capacitor is not visible. The unit is ready to accommodate DJI’s FPV Air Unit and its camera with TPU mounts, including guides for the antennas and a base for the GPS head. Moreover, the flight controller is equipped with a socket that connects it to the FPV Air Unit without soldering.
Technical specifications? This Flight Controller is a Zeus F722 based on an F7 processor, flashed with Betaflight. It offers 5 UARTs to connect several devices such as GPS, Crossfire type receiver, etc… The ESC is a 4 in 1 of 60A for brushless motors 2306 to 1900KV (6S battery version) or 2306 to 2550KV (4S version). The propellers supplied by HGLRC are Ethix S5.
The versions? The Sector V3 is proposed in DJI 6S version: it is equipped with 1900KV motors, an FPV Air Unit and its camera, and can be fitted with a Flysky, FrSky or TBS Crossfire radio receiver.
From 356€ on Banggood. It is also proposed in a version with an analog video return based on a Caddx 1200TVL Ratel camera and a MT 5.8 GHz video transmitter from 25 mW to 800 mW, with a selection of radio receivers, in 4S or 6S version from 223€. You may prefer to mount the device yourself with your own components. In this case, HLRC offers the bare frame with TPU brackets to accommodate the DJI hardware, with TPU bracket for a GoPro, in 5 inch, 6 inch and 7 inch versions, from 50 €. This suggests that the HGLRC 5 inch can probably be upgraded to 6 or 7 inch afterwards, by buying only the arms .
Features | Control the LED lights easily with the press of a button on the Zeus F722 FC. The Sector5 V3 also supports GPS-rescue with one of the most stable GPS - HGLRC M80 installed. |
