Appeared yesterday on Youtube in a promotional video posted on the official channel of Hubsan, the new drone weighing less than 250 grams and therefore facilitated by European regulations, has truly exceptional characteristics, at least on paper.
To tell the truth, not even on paper, since to date, on the site of Hubsan, well-known manufacturer of remotely piloted aircraft for recreational purposes, known since the 2000s, nothing appears in this regard. Only a teaser video, where are listed the really many technical specifications “killer” of this new small UAS called Zino Mini Pro.
Thus taking its name from its “big brothers” larger and heavier, but adding from the beginning the adjective Pro.
They are therefore not known, nor the delivery date, nor the price, although Hubsan is famous for producing drones with decent flight quality, good image stabilization and good video clips. A little less on the photographic front, but all at usually affordable prices. Let’s go to list these incredible technical features of a drone weighing only 249 grams.
These data speak for themselves and if indeed this new drone Hubsan Zino Mini Pro, will maintain even only in part the promises extolled in the official video, will certainly give a lot of trouble to several competitors on the market.
Someone could object that as far as sensors and the relative recognition or avoidance of obstacles are concerned, Hubsan has little experience. Same reasoning on Active Track, that is the pursuit of a subject using even AI (Artificial Intelligence).
These are certainly shareable considerations, but we must remember that Hubsan has always been at the forefront in the modeling sector. Producing for example 15 years ago radio-controlled aircraft to be flown in first person, then in FPV that incorporated on the remote control an LCD display that received the images transmitted by the on-board camera.
For those times it was a considerable leap forward from the technological point of view.
Without considering the other models, almost always airplanes, the first quadricopters or drones at the time were not yet widespread, really small and miniaturized.
Seeing then the technologies, although not very modern implemented on the latest models of Zino, some technical specifications stated just above, could actually and safely be present in the small Zino Mini Pro. We just have to watch and as always with a finger ready on the click and the credit card ready.
