If Xiaomi doesn’t even have a window cleaning robot yet, various models have been successfully launched in their crowdfunding platform over time, one of them being Hutt DDC55. Recently, it also reached the offer of Gearbest, which means that it can be delivered in Europe, which is why I decided that it deserves a blog article.

In terms of appearance, at first glance Hutt DDC55 does not seem to differ at all from this model no name, but I bet on the fact that it is a product from the Xiaomi crowdfunding platform, so it offers an extra confidence. However, even if design is similar in terms of technical specifications, Hutt DDC55 promises quality components (Nidec engine, Freescale pressure sensor) and advanced functions.

Like robot vacuum cleaners, it is equipped with sensors so that it can be guided precisely. It promises a system based on artificial intelligence, which depending on how dirty the windows are, adjusts its power, avoids obstacles and gets the best route for efficient and fast cleaning of windows. It is not a device that we can control remotely using a mobile phone, for this we have a remote control.

It can be used on different glass surfaces, such as: windows, shop windows, mirrors, glass doors, shower cabins, tiles, etc. It is necessary to connect the appliance to a power source for operation. If it is used for cleaning windows, it has 2 safety measures: it can be secured with a rope with a length of 8 meters, which comes with it, and the second is the integrated battery, with a capacity of 650 mAh, which it can keep it “caught” in the glass for up to 20 minutes.
