Shortly after publishing the review for the Kugoo S1 and Kugoo S1 Pro, a new Kugoo trophy that drew my attention appeared in the offer from Geekbuying. It seems to me that G-Booster is an electric trotte that is built for roads in Romania and the countries “with good roads”, that is why it is so popular in Russia.
Compared to Kugoo S1, The G-Booster is a true monster. The design is similar to the one found on most models of this kind, nothing special. It has spring suspension and hydraulic suspension on both the front and rear wheels. It weighs 30 pounds and the maximum weight is 120 kilograms. Clearly, you can not have a compact and minimalist trotte like the Xiaomi M365 Pro, which you can do off-road, so the look is something like “Hate it or love it”.
The wheels are 10 inches and inside each one is integrated an engine that develops a power of 800 watts, generating a total power of 1600 watts. If at Kugoo S1 I said the acceleration is aggressive, I do not want to imagine what it is like to accelerate a 2-engine electric trot.
More power translates automatically through increased power consumption, so G-Booster hides a 23.0 Ah battery under the footrest, capable of providing up to 85 km of self-loading with just one load – at least that supports manufacturer. Obviously, autonomy varies with each person’s weight, weather conditions, road, etc. The battery is charged within 10 hours.
The Kugoo G-Booster has 3 modes of operation to limit the maximum speed it achieves: 20Km/h, 35Km/h, or 55Km/h. The maximum climb slope is up to 35 degrees. To ensure a timely shut-down, but also for added safety, the trotting is equipped with 2 ventilated disc brakes on the front and rear wheels, allowing them to stop at a very short distance braking.
The tripod is also equipped with an LCD display where information is displayed on battery capacity, usage, speed and current speed. There is also no 10-watt LED headlamp mounted at the bottom of the handlebars to effectively illuminate the road. From the presentation video the trottineta seems to be waterproof, but the shop site does not mention this.
I do not know you, but my pulse grows only by watching the presentation clip. After the extremely enjoyable experience I had with the Kugoo S1, I wonder why we are not so popular with Kugoo troopers, for example in Russia. They are made of quality materials, resistant to our roads, and the price is more than good. So, If you have a higher demand for electric bicycles, then KUGOO G-BOOSTER will not let you down.
