OUKITEL WP12 is the first Outdoor Phone Running Android 11

Oukitel in its repertoire. Formally, the smartphone Oukitel WP12 has not yet been announced. In fact, it has already appeared in one of the Oukitel brand stores on AliExpress. The price is low, only $149.99.

The Oukitel WP12 is advertised as the world’s first rugged smartphone on the eleventh version of Android. Protection plus a modest price – it is immediately clear that the smartphone is low-end…

With protection, everything is traditional. Water and dust resistance is promised (IP68 and even IP69K – you can wash with hot water under pressure). Plus MIL-STD-810G is mentioned. Without much detail, unfortunately. All it says is that you can drop it from a height of one and a half meters.

There is some confusion with the iron. They write about the chipset MediaTek Helio A22, although the characteristics are more like Helio A20. Not the point, these chipsets are almost the same. And for more than 70-80 thousand AnTuTu points we can’t hope – frankly budget level.

Everything is relatively good with memory. 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage. There is memory card support, and it obviously won’t be superfluous, but the tray is hybrid, so you have to sacrifice the second SIM card.

The screen is small, only 5.5″. The resolution is low, 720×1440. But on such a modest diagonal, it gives quite normal 293 PPI.

The battery has a medium capacity, 4000 mAh. They promise fast charging at 18 watts.

Do not expect much from the cameras. Frontal 5 MP, behind two modules 13 + 0.3 MP. And the main module is a Sony IMX135 – as far back as 2013.

Suddenly there is an NFC module. However, there is no fingerprint scanner… Wi-Fi dual-band is a good thing. USB is an ancient Micro.
