It seems that in addition to rumored Smartphones also the Chinese brands are putting some attention lately on the rugged tablets as in the case of the China PiPo brand that has just presented its PIPO X4. This time we have a tablet based on Windows 10 with IP67 certification and a rubber body made to withstand falls that includes at the hardware level unusual things like an RJ45 network connector or various USB ports. Naturally the dimensions of this tablet are not the usual, nor its weight that is around 1020g.
The PIPO X4 includes a SoC Intel Atom X5-Z8350 a Quad Core with enough time behind it that integrates an Intel HD GPU. We also have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage memory that we can expand thanks to an included microSD card reader. A configuration with which we can move Windows 10 but to which we can not demand too much.
The screen of the PIPO X4 is a IPS of 10,1 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels that includes in its front a webcam with microphone of 2MP and in its back part of 5MP. We also have Dual Band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and a 3.7V 12000 mAh battery. At the connectivity level we have a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0, a microuSB, 3.5mm audio jack, RJ45 10/100 network port and an HDMI 1.4a video output.
