The PiPo X9RK is a new product that comes to us with Android as OS and with a SoC already surpassed today as is the Rockchip RK3288. This time we have an 8.9-inch screen with a hardware design that according to the brand is ready to work 24h x 365 days non stop and that is prepared against dust and vibrations among others. It seems that this time Pipo is targeting its hybrid to the business and industrial sector, although it is still valid for the domestic environment naturally.
The screen of the PIPO X9RK is an 8.9-inch IPS touch with a resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels and that according to advertising is military grade. For wireless connectivity we have WiFi b / g / n with external antenna and Bluetooth 4.0. At the connector level we have 4 USB 2.0 ports, 3.5mm audio jack, Gigabit network connector and an HDMI 1.4 video output. We also have a small speaker built into the chassis but we don’t know its output power.
Within the PIPO X9RK we find the RK3328 SoC that integrates four ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a Mali-450 MP2 GPU that includes native H.265 and VP9 video decoding up to 4K @ 60fps resolutions with support for HLG HDR. It also has 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and 32 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can expand by adding a memory card in the included microSD card reader.
