Pocophone F2 PRO

Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro will be the most affordable smartphone on the Snapdragon 865

For those who await Pocophone F2 PRO, the news is not really excellent. There will not be available such a model, or rather, it will be available but we will not discuss an original model.

Basically, Xiaomi will sell Redmi K20 Pro as Pocophone F2 PRO and this will happen in some markets. Just as the Redmi K20 will be simply called Poco F2. That means we will not be witnessing the launch of another model, the successor of the one who made it last year.

That’s not all, Xiaomi will add “family” Mi 9 other new models, Mi 9T and Mi 9T PRO, they will have retractable cameras. So releases will be, but they will “spin” around those already existing. That is, small design changes and a few interior adjustments. Otherwise, we already have equipment that we already know and which are present on the Mi9 series or the new K20 series.

Specifically, Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 865, also valid for Pocophone F2 and F2 PRO. The good news is that prices will remain competitive, meaning much lower than what our competitors are offering at the moment.

The Pocophone F2 Pro is unlikely to be exactly the same smartphone as the Redmi K20 Pro. Simply changing the name wouldn’t be a great idea. Xiaomi will probably make some slight differences. It is very likely that the third lens will not be used, which would allow to lower the price even slightly. If it is in reality, we will see in time. Probably the Pocophone F2 Pro will not be launched until next quarter. We are unlikely to see it in June. The closer we get to the release, the more we will know.
