Budget variant of Redmi K30i will also enter the market

Chinese technology giant seems to be looking to further expand its Redmi K30 range, which consists of Redmi K30, K30 5G, Redmi K30 Pro and K30 Pro Zoom smartphones. The Redmi K30i is the last one to join the series. The novelty will be even cheaper than the basic version 4G.

Unfortunately, more precise information about the device is currently unknown, but Xiaomishka has also shared some information about K30i. According to Twitter, the Redmi K30i will in fact serve as a “lightweight” version and thus will be equipped with a 48-megapixel main rear sensor, compared to the 64-megapixel sensor installed on the K30 5G. We can expect that other specifications will also see a slight reduction to reduce overall cost.

As for other specs, the Redmi K30i is expected to feature a 6.67-inch dual-port full screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, a 20 million + 2 million AI dual-photo front, a 4500mAh battery and support for 30W sprint flash charging.

Speaking of cost, there are also rumors that the Redmi K30i will be released at a price of about 1,799 yuan (approximately 254 USD). At the moment, other smartphone configurations are unknown, but rumors indicate the MediaTek Dimensity 800 will be installed in this version. This will allow the device to be cheap, but will also support 5G network.
