Builders unknown to the battalion are launching into the micro racers market. This is the case of Reptile, with its Cloud-149. It is a device with propeller protection of the Tinywhoop type, but quite large since it measures 14.9 cm diagonally. The structure is made of carbon, 3 mm thick for the lower plate, 2 mm thick for the upper plate with 3 cm spacers. The motors are 1407 to 4000KV brushless motors for 3 inch 3045 three-bladed propellers, all powered by a 20A 4 in 1 ESC. The latter is integrated into the flight controller component based on an F4 processor, flashed with Betaflight and including an active OSD.
The camera model is not indicated, it is a 1200TVL associated with a 5.8 GHz video transmitter compatible with 40 channels, capable of operating in 25 mW (the maximum allowed in France), but also 200 mW and 500 mW. The video antenna is a polarized one. Interesting, finally, this device from an unknown manufacturer, since it is able to carry a GoPro Hero 7 and transform into a Cinewhoop – a TPU bracket inclined at 10° is provided in the box. The total weight, excluding batteries, is 88 grams. There is no recommendation for the battery, but he takes the 3S and most probably the 4S without concern. To take off, you still need to add a radio receiver. The price? The Cloud-149 will be offered at 124 € at Banggood (excluding port, excluding taxes), in black or red.
