Roidmi P8S Car Air Purifier

Roidmi P8S, the new model of air purifier for Xiaomi’s car, is a renewal of the Xiaomi Car Air Purifier that we told you about two years ago. This device is capable of purifying the air in just two minutes! The new Xiaomi Roidmi P8S car air purifier is equipped with a high quality filter with a CADR of up to 80 m³/h (clean air supply rate).

Compared to the previous model, it provides greater purification efficiency with greater air flow and in less time. According to the manufacturer, for a 3m³ vehicle, only two minutes are needed to clean the air. It integrates a high efficiency three layer 360° filter, i.e. it allows the air inlet to be three-dimensional, ensuring not only an adequate air volume, but also a more accurate filtering of air particles.

The first layer can effectively filter out large particles such as dust and hairs. The second layer of the high-density H11 class filter filters small (micrometric) particles such as harmful PM2.5, PM0.3, pollen and others that are in the environment and we are breathing. The third layer of active carbon can absorb benzene, odour and other harmful substances.

The air comes out through the two centrifugal turbine fans it incorporates. The Roidmi P8S purifier increases pressure while maintaining a stable air velocity. In this process, it will emit a low level of noise.

The purified air will enter from three sides, thus increasing the air inlet area making the interior completely recycled and improving purification efficiency.

Thanks to the OLED display, it will show and report in real time on the air quality, as well as the mode in which it is (Auto) and whether Bluetooth is activated. As shown in the following picture: The high quality industrial laser sensor can accurately detect 0.3 um particles, cleaning and filtering even better the air from these practically imperceptible particles.

The Roidmi P8S air purifier comes with a new form of installation, making it more stable and safe even against road potholes. It can be attached to the headrest of the car seat. In silent mode, it emits a very low noise level of 35dB, you won’t notice it’s on.

It is connected to the Xiaomi Home app via the Chinese server. From it you can see in real time the changes in air quality, adjust the mode, activate reminders for the replacement of the filter and report on the level of wear of it.
