We have already spoken here about Smartisan, a manufacturer that does not make much of a name for itself in Europe but which, it has to be said, makes some really amazing terminals. Most of them are made for the highest range of the market, getting devices that, at least in terms of specifications, look very good.

As we have already said on some occasions, there is so much competition in the Smartphone market that if some brands want to make themselves known, they have to create models with some outstanding appearance above the rest of the terminals in the same market range, and this is the case with the new model for the high range that Smartisan is preparing, the Smartisan R1.

It’s true that aesthetically, Smartisan terminals never stand out with striking details, but it’s also true that they make devices with good aesthetics, not to mention, beautiful and sober, with design lines that will always work and that will not make us quickly get tired of the look of the Smartphone.

In the case of this Smartisan R1 it will have an aluminium chassis, specifically Series 7 with a rear part composed of tempered glass and curved on its sides with 3D technology.

On the front side we will find that this Smartisan R1 will have a 6.17″ IPS screen and a FullHD+ resolution (2424 x 1080p), a somewhat “rare” resolution even though the screen format of this new Smartisan terminal will be 18.7:9, a screen that will be protected with Corning Gorilla in its third generation to prevent it from being easily damaged.

But what’s really interesting (and outstanding) about this Smartisan R1 is that it will be underneath the case, and that is that this new Smartisan terminal will have the Snapdragon 845 processor (as it could not be otherwise for a high-end) but will have different sizes of RAM and storage depending on the model we choose.

The most basic variant of this Smartisan R1 will come equipped with 6GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of internal storage, numbers that are nothing but not bad, but it still has a top model that will have 8GB of RAM and a storage of 128GB or 1TB, yes 1024GB, an amount that until now we had not seen in a Smartphone and also will be a type of memory UFS 2.1, ultra-fast memory.

In the photographic section this Smartisan R1 is not left behind as it will be equipped with a double rear camera composed of the Sony IMX363 and Sony IMX350 sensors of 12 and 20MP respectively with optical stabilizer. On the front there will be a 24MP camera.

As for range, this Smartisan R1 will be determined by the 3600mAh battery that this terminal will be equipped with and that will also be compatible with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4+ technology.
