All the kind time of the day! In our review, you will learn about the characteristics and performance of the Androd set-top box Tanix TX3 Max with 2GB of onboard memory, 16 GB of permanent memory and the mysterious S905W chipset. We tested the TV box, installed programs for watching movies and TV channels, appreciated the new interface of Alice UX. Pleased with the availability of Root-rights.
Mysterious chipset S905W, on the basis of which the pre-configured set-top box is not even on the official Amlogic website. By not very confirmed data, this processor is a cheaper version and so inexpensive S905X. It does not have hardware support for the VP9 codec, video in 4K resolution is only supported at a rate of 30 frames. At the same time, sort of like, the performance of the chipset should be no worse than S905X. Well we’ll see.
The Android device Tanix TX3 Max showed itself, in principle, on the good side. There were no suspensions. The interface is smooth, and the launcher is really convenient. Full HD – loses positively. 100Mbit – speed over a cable Ethernet connection.
