With a different design, the Tnigkey Green G1 took the proposal from several other machines already on the market. We can see the huge similarities between this model and the Chuwi Larkbox and Larbox Pro, the GMK NucBox, the XCY M1T and even the Xiaomi Ningmei Cube.
The only technical “Green G1” that this new model brings is a blue light strip on top of its chassis and the addition of two extra USB ports. As for the rest, it’s a carbon copy of the other machines already on sale: same Intel Celeron J4125 processor, same RAM with 8GB of RAM, same basic storage of 256GB of eMMC expandable with the same M.2 2242 SATA slot…
Tnigkey lists a series of advantages on a small and unreadable image that I have enlarged as best as possible here. In the end, these advantages are really unconvincing. The only really interesting one is the presence of 4 USB ports (3 x USB 3.0 and 1 x USB 2.0) against two USB 3.0 for the competitors. As for the rest, the presence of a light strip, the choice of colors, the “overclocking test” and others are either matters of taste or options that exist in competitors. I wouldn’t be surprised to see competitors release their versions with 4 USB ports soon.
