Ulefone T2 4G Phablet with Helio P60

At the Mobile World Congress, Ulefone company caused a stir at the beginning of the year with a prototype of the Ulefone T2. The prototype had a display with Notch to offer, which is almost completely borderless except for the lower edge of the screen. After the Mobile World Congress, it was quiet again around the Ulefone T2. However, the project has not fizzled, as Ulefone announced today. The Ulefone T2 is soon to be presented and in the course of this announcement has also announced a few details.

First, you want to bring the Ulefone T2 on the market and then the Ulefone T2 Pro. The latter will be the smartphone with Helio P70 processor shown at the Mobile World Congress. The first appearing Ulefone T2, is equipped with a Helio P60. The two chips differ only in their clock frequencies and are manufactured with 10nm. The Helio P60 is about as powerful as a Snapdragon 660.

Unfortunately, the Ulefone T2 display will not be as rimless as the prototype shown on the MWC. The border around the display has been slightly enlarged and roughly corresponds to what we know from other Notch smartphones. The lower edge of the display has also been slightly enlarged. The Notch remains very compact and is much smaller than, for example, the UmiDigi Z2 / Z2 Pro or the Xiaomi Mi 8. The display will offer a diagonal of 6.7 inches, resolves with FHD+ and is manufactured by Sharp. The processor is backed by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. The battery is 3900mAh.

Ulefone also attaches great importance to emphasizing that the Ulefone T2 will not have a fake dual camera. Instead, one wants to implement a real dual camera that uses a combination of a Sony and a Samsung sensor. More details will follow in the next weeks.
