URUAV UZ85 85mm 2S DIY Whoop FPV Racing Drone

This is a new Tinywhoop class 85 nano racer with 8.5 cm motor to motor diagonal. We owe it to the manufacturer UrUAV. The aircraft rests on a plastic fairing structure on which the engines are installed. They are brushless 1102 to 10000KV connected using connectors, therefore easy to change, for Gemfan 2023 2.3 inch (5.8 cm) three-blade propellers. The electronics is an all-in-one component that includes a CrazyBeeX flight controller from Happymodel based on an F4 processor flashed with Betaflight, a 5A ESC and a 5.8 GHz video transmitter compatible with 40 channels, with a power of 25 mW, adjustable in SmartAudio.

The all-in-one component can be without a radio receiver, or integrate a Flysky or FrSky compatible SPI receiver. The camera linked to the video transmitter is a Caddx Ant Lite 1200TVL with WDR. It weighs 36 grams, excluding battery. The power supply is based on an XT30 socket, designed to accommodate 2S batteries. The manufacturer does not communicate on the recommended capacity, but it is probably 300 mAh. The price? The UZ85 is offered from $77.99 at Banggood. That’s a really low price… but there’s a trick to it! The UZ85 is delivered unassembled. It’s up to you to put the puzzle together. No stress, there is no need for a soldering iron, just a screwdriver and a bit of patience…
