Gearbest launched the other day, for the first time (world, I think I could say), the new vacuum cleaner produced by Viomi. It is called Viomi SE and is positioned as a more accessible and better alternative for the SE Pro, being currently the cheapest model in their portfolio.

It largely retains the technical specifications we find in the V2 Pro, but we have a new color (white with gold at the top), a little more suction power, improved navigation system and more dust and water containers. small.

However, Viomi does not compromise on quality and uses only top components from manufacturers such as Samsung (battery) and Nidec (engine). The design remains unchanged, but to differentiate it from previous models, it is available in white – I think it is also the first white robot vacuum cleaner from Viomi.

The suction power is 2200 Pa, ie 100 Pa more than the V2 Pro – probably the power difference will not be noticeable in everyday use. The navigation system is now optimized, using artificial intelligence, it manages to improve the route of the vacuum cleaner, being 23% more efficient. The sensors are the same that we find today with almost any other vacuum cleaner in this price segment. It can pass over obstacles with a maximum height of 2 centimeters.

The battery has a capacity of 300 mAh, being enough to vacuum an area of ​​up to 200 square meters. However, I am of the opinion that in the case of robot vacuum cleaners, the capacity of the battery is not as important as in the case of a telephone, for example. This is because when it runs out of battery, the vacuum cleaner knows how to return to the base, it charges, then it continues where it left off.

Like the previous generation, it allows the user to control directly from the application the amount of water it releases, depending on the need or the room in which it operates. It has 3 settings for the amount of water: low, medium and maximum. The water container is 300 ml and the dust container 200 ml. Up to 5 different maps can be saved from the application, this option being useful for multi-level homes. The robot also knows how to identify the rooms, so that the vacuuming program can be customized according to each room.
