The smart watch will debut simultaneously with the flagship Mi CC9 Pro camera and Mi TV 5. Just a few minutes ago, the Chinese manufacturer published the first official announcement of the new product. It is well known that the new smart watches will work under the WearOS operating system, which was created by Google specifically for wearable devices.

Past smart Xiaomi watches are visually reminiscent of fitness bracelets. It is obvious that the Chinese manufacturer seriously intends to fix this defect. The Xiaomi Mi Watch Color will have a completely new design concept that is as close as possible to a classic mechanical watch. The manufacturer assures that the novelty will significantly surpass Apple Watch.

The first photograph of Xiaomi Mi Watch Color confirms that the bet is on a rectangular display. However, the angles are smoothed as much as possible. There are no physical buttons on the case. This means that users will be offered a complete touchscreen control system. According to rumors, the new system is equipped with a built-in SIM card, a 4G modem and an NFC module to make contactless payments.

Xiaomi is apparently preparing a new smartwatch. The name ‘Xiaomi Mi Watch Color‘ has been caught together with the name of Xiaomi Mix Alpha in a list of branded products that are about to be revealed. The leak is from the same leaker. This person who calls himself “Xiaomishka” has already proved correct in the past and if his word is correct, we will have another smartwatch from the Asian company to be revealed soon.

So far we have no concrete information on the smart watch. However, with the popularity of the most recent “Amazfit GTS” it would not be surprising that Xiaomi followed the same steps.

Xiaomi’s most popular gadgets are usually the products with the most affordable value, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the brand was successful in a smartwatch with the highest value and the most features.
