Personally, I was looking forward to when this gadget goes on sale. The fact is that in my personal TOP of useful Xiaomi devices, this small PM 2.5 Air Detector takes almost the first place. Why? Read on!

The Xiaomi Smart Air Detector is packaged pretty minimalist: in the original box of white cardboard with the image of the PM 2.5 Air Detector. Inside it is directly the gadget itself and the instruction in Chinese with rather expressive pictures.

Thanks to the convenient cubic shape with rounded edges, the gadget is comfortable to carry around with you in your bag, backpack or just your pocket. There is no need to worry about the device fragility – its body is made of durable ABS plastic. The gadget has only one on / off button, which is located on the top of the case. On the back, under the air grate, is a microUSB port, thanks to which the analyzer can be charged. We are talking about air purifiers Mi Air Purifier, Purifier 2 and Purifier Pro. The air analyzer can be synchronized with any of these models. The essence of the work of such a tandem is very simple and practical: it is only PM 2.5 Air Detector to fix the improper level of cleanliness of the air in the room entrusted to him, he will immediately give the signal to turn on for the air purifier. As they say, the system “Smart Home” in action!

An important “chip” is the ability to adjust the brightness of the display depending on the time of day. In the daytime, it will shine brightly, and at night, respectively, it will become dimmer. In addition, on the detector screen, you can set the clock.

We note immediately that the air analyzer showed itself perfectly in work. Small and convenient, it fits easily into the pocket of my jacket, and due to the small weight of the device, I eventually forgot that I took it with me.

Laser Sensor PM 2.5 Air Detector demonstrated excellent speed and accuracy. As it turned out, the air quality in my house was very good, around 15-35 points.

However, it was worth the smell of burning from the street to enter the room, as the sensor indicators quickly crawled up, jumping over 75 points and hitting the orange zone.

To great joy, as I did not try, I did not find an area in which the PM 2.5 Air Detector showed a red level of pollution. As you can see, the air analyzer showed itself just great The only thing that should be noted – when working with a gadget, it is not necessary to close the rear grille, through which the air intake takes place. If you restrict air access to the PM 2.5 Air Detector sensor, its performance will be very inaccurate.
