ZAPCOOL T103-1 23.4Ah 60V 1600W Folding Electric Scooter

About ZAPCOOL, it is a Chinese company that makes high-end electric scooter. Meanwhile, the manufacturer has launched T103-1, the model that wants to compete directly with the Xiaomi M365 Pro and Ninebot ES2, borrowing the good parts from both.

It seems that this time the manufacturer opted for tires full of 8.5 inches honeycomb type, which escapes the care of rubber feathers and which also absorbs shocks. From the presentation images they appear to be as wide as the ones from Xiaomi, which means that the grip will also be improved. In addition, for added comfort, the scooter is also fitted with a suspension on the front wheel. I’m curious if this combination of honeycomb rubber and suspension, manages to bring the comfort I was used to with the M365’s room tires.

The ZAPCOOL T103-1 is among the few scooters that have both electric and disc brake. I do not know if even two types of brake were needed, but they certainly increase the braking efficiency, so they are welcome.

The power of the engine is 1600W and the climb slope is 15 degrees. With a 23.4Ah battery, the scooter promises a range of up to 70-90 kilometers. It is charged within 6-12 hours, depending on how low the battery is. The maximum speed it can reach is 60 km/h.

The ZAPCOOL T103-1 is a direct competitor to the Xiaomi M365 Pro, but it comes with a few extra benefits, such as: the folding mode (which at first glance seems to be much better thought out), the ambient light system, honeycomb tires, front wheel suspension, and stronger engine.
